Can I get a refund if I cancel my order before it ships?

Optim-Elec refund policy for pre-shipment cancellations:

Refund eligibility:

  • Before dispatch: Order cancelled within 6 hours of placementFull refund, no fees.
  • Before dispatch (standard timeframe): Order cancelled before dispatch notificationFull refund minus any applicable restocking fees (typically 0%).
  • No credit option: Optim-Elec does NOT offer store credit. Refunds are returned to your original payment method only.

Refund process:

  1. Contact [email protected] or call (Mon-Thu 8:30-12, 13-17:30; Fri 8:30-12, 13-17) with your order number.
  2. Provide reason for cancellation.
  3. Optim-Elec confirms cancellation within 2 business hours.
  4. Refund is initiated to your original payment method (credit card, bank account).
  5. Refund processing time: 5-7 business days depending on your bank or credit card company.
  6. You receive refund confirmation email with transaction reference.

After dispatch: Order cannot be cancelled. However, you may refuse delivery or initiate a return within 14 days under French consumer law (returns policy applies). For shipped orders, contact our returns department at [email protected].
