What is a fuse protection?
A fuse protection is a device that combines the functions of an load break switch with those of a fuse. A fuse is an overcurrent and short-circuit protection device. When the electrical current exceeds a predefined value, the fuse melts and interrupts the circuit, protecting electrical equipment and avoiding any risk of fire or damage. The fuse protection is therefore used to simultaneously isolate and protect an electrical circuit.
