My payment is pending. What should I do?

Troubleshoot pending payment at Optim-Elec:

Step 1: Verify your connection

  • Exit private/incognito browsing : Some payment gateways block private browsing mode. Use normal browser mode instead.
  • Check WiFi/network : Ensure stable internet connection. Switch to cellular if WiFi is unstable.
  • Clear browser cache/cookies : Delete temporary files and cookies from your browser settings, then reconnect to optim-elec.com.

Step 2: Check your bank account

  • Open your banking app or online portal.
  • Verify sufficient account balance for order amount.
  • Check if your credit limit has been reached.
  • Review recent transactions for any failed attempts.
  • Contact your bank if transaction was declined or flagged for fraud.

Step 3: Retry payment

  • Return to your Optim-Elec account → "Pending orders".
  • Click "Retry payment" link from your order confirmation email.
  • Re-enter payment details carefully (card number, expiry, CVV, billing address).
  • Complete 3D Secure authentication when prompted by your bank.

Step 4: Try alternative payment method

  • Use a different credit card (Visa instead of Mastercard) or Bancontact.
  • Consider bank transfer for large orders.

Still pending after 48 hours? Contact [email protected] with your order number. Do not attempt repeated payment attempts—contact your bank first if multiple declined transactions occur.
